What does a lifetime tint warranty cover?
Short answer
Ceramic IR window tint carries a lifetime manufacturer warranty against covered film defects. It does not cover damage. The film is thin and can be scratched by seat belts, rings, keys, ice scrapers or cargo. Installation or workmanship concerns must be reported to APC within 14 days of installation.
Quick facts
| Warranty | Lifetime manufacturer warranty |
|---|---|

| Doesn't cover | Damage, such as scratches |
| Workmanship concerns | Report to APC within 14 days of installation |
What counts as damage?
Scratches and nicks from everyday use: seat belts snapping back, rings, keys, ice scrapers and cargo sliding against the glass. Tint is a thin film, so it's worth being careful around it.
What about installation issues?
If you notice an installation or workmanship concern, report it to APC within 14 days of installation. Keep in mind that some haze or small water pockets are normal while the film cures. See When can I roll my windows down after tint?
