Can you tint a sunroof or glass roof?
Short answer
APC can tint a sunroof, but APC is not responsible if it is damaged because it was tinted. APC does not tint glass or panoramic roofs, mainly because film can heat the glass unevenly and crack it. See below for the other reasons.

What's the difference between a sunroof and a glass roof?
A sunroof is a smaller panel in the roof, often one that opens. A glass roof or panoramic roof covers much more of the roof with glass.
Why doesn't APC tint glass roofs?
Heat stress: film on a large piece of roof glass absorbs heat, so the glass can heat unevenly and crack, especially when sun follows cold, wet weather. A glass roof is much bigger and more expensive to replace than a sunroof.
Already protected: most factory glass roofs, including Tesla's, already have built-in UV and heat-blocking coatings, so tint adds little.
Warranty: film on the roof glass can void the manufacturer's warranty on that glass.
Clean result: large, curved roof glass is hard to tint without flaws.
Why the limit on sunroofs?
APC can tint a sunroof, but if a tinted sunroof is damaged because it was tinted, APC is not responsible. Film can heat the glass unevenly and cause cracks, the same heat stress risk as glass roofs.
